In addition to our Membership Programs for Juniors, Halton Hills Tennis Club runs several Lesson Programs that are available to the General Public as well as our Members.
Students should bring:
- Tennis Racquet (we have a few loaners and the Halton Hills Library also has some)
- Water bottle
- Running shoes and hat for morning lessons
Little Munchkins - Mini Tennis (Ages 5-7)
This program is for young players and focuses on their hand-eye coordination in a game environment. The focus is on lots of fun tennis based games which are a good way to start tennis for toddlers and juniors under the age of 8. Classes are 45 minutes in length with maximun 8 students.
Future Stars - Beginners to Intermediate (Ages 8-10)
This program is structured for the junior beginner who has some hand-eye coordination and wants to learn to play tennis. The program works on all the basic tennis strokes and includes some fun and games as well as constant interaction from a qualified instructor. Classes are 45 minutes in length with maximum 8 students.
Junior Stars - Beginner to Intermediate (Ages 10-15)
This programs will work on fostering the habits needed to become a student of the game. The goal will be to skills improvement and promoting consistency by focusing on footwork, style of play, stroke development and game play basics. Special attention will be spent on rallying and control. Classes are 45 minutes in length with maximum 8 students.
